Service Description

Monday Night improv drop-in is an open class for ALL levels. Whether you are brand new to improv or more experienced. This class is bursting with improv comedy games and exercises. Everyone can improvise. The fundamental principles of improvisation are built in to every session, making it doable for all. You don't need any prior experience of improvisation, acting, drama or comedy to do these workshops. They are suitable for ALL LEVELS. This is your weekly dose of laughter, wellbeing, silly fun and lots of creativity and playfulness. You will guarantee laugh your socks off every week! What to expect at Monday night drop-in sessions? Plenty of 'short form' improv games and scenes to develop your skills Embedding YES AND (accepting ideas and contributing to scenes) Building up your understanding of scene skills Developing comic skills. Supporting each other, working together in pairs or small groups. Building trust and confidence in yourself and others. Making new friends and connections Boosting your wellbeing with all those 'feel-good' hormones that laughter gives us! Skills from this performing art form can transform your self-confidence and are transferable to all aspects of your social and professional life. If you’re looking for a hobby that can massively impact on your social confidence and connection to others, increase your wellbeing, reduce stress and meet people from all walks of life and find long lasting friendships then this is for you! A recent new starter said: "Doing the beginners course and drop-in sessions has been amazing. This sort of thing usually scares the hell out of me but I always feel safe and supported" This is an in-person class. Every Monday 7pm - 9pm. Liverpool Arts Bar 22 Hope Street, Liverpool L1 9BY. Liverpool Comedy Improv has been established for 9 years and creates a wonderful supportive community. All participants agree to adhere to the LCI code of conduct, found on this website.

Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds or transfers unless at the discretion of LCI. However, LCI will refund or transfer you if you can no longer attend because you discover you are positive for Covid, or feel unwell and suspect you have Covid, or discover you have come into contact with someone who has tested positive. If LCI need to cancel a session you will be offered a refund. Please email LCI to inform us about any Covid related issue.
